Yamato and Sai, the temporary leader of Team Kakashi and member of Team 7, respectively, have been confirmed playable in Bandai Namco Entertainment and Soleil Ltd’s Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.
Yamato is a defensive-type character that is armed with the Wood Style jutsu, Deep Forest Emergence. With this, Yamato can capture and attack opponents with what are essentially tree branches.
Sai is a range-type character equipped with the jutsu “Super God Imitating Drawing”. With this, Sai draws two powerful, gigantic humanoids called Agyo and Ungyo which are used to physically attack the enemy with their great strength.
With the announcement of these two characters, there are now 17 confirmed playable characters. The others are Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, Mitsuki, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Kakashi Hatake, Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi, Hinata Hyuga, Rock Lee, Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, Pain, and Konan.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is expected to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 31, 2018 in North America and Europe. In Japan, it will only be available for PlayStation 4 and launch on August 30, 2018.
