Thanks to huge fan demand, Dragon Ball FighterZ is heading to the Nintendo Switch worldwide this year! The news came from E3 2018 last week and while a specific release date for North America and Europe has not been announced yet, in Japan it launches on September 27. The price in Japan for Dragon Ball FighterZ is 6,800 yen (around $61.58 USD) for the Nintendo Switch version, which is cheaper than the 8208 yen (around $74.33) PlayStation 4 version.
Those who buy the Nintendo Switch version of the game in Japan, for a limited time, will receive a free download code for Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden, a game originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) back in 1993. Along with that there will be a bonus early unlock for playable characters Goku (SSGSS) and Vegeta (SSGSS) and a Super Rare card for the Super Dragon Ball Heroes arcade game.
The Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ will contain the same voice options as the PlayStation 4 version of the game along with play at 60 frames per second. There will be simplified controls for single Joy-Con play as well.
