The Nintendo Switch was announced on January 13, 2017 as the first platform of its kind, a hybrid system, that allows HD gaming on the go in addition to at home. When the Switch was announced, one of the first prospective games people thought about was Pokemon. The main RPG series of games has been exclusively handheld, leaving fans desiring the ability to play a true Pokemon game, on their TV from the comfort of their couch.
Today, Nintendo has announced that desire will soon be fulfilled through POKEMON LET’s GO – the new generation of Pokemon video games! It seems this Pokemon game is like the one’s we know and love, but in HD and with motion controls! Players will return to the Kanto region, the setting of the original Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow and experience a classic Pokémon journey in a whole new way. Like all Pokemon games, this will be available in two flavors – Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee – and will be hitting the Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018. It seems two players can play together on one screen and also interact with the mobile Pokemon game, Pokemon Go. Take a look at the first trailer for Pokemon Let’s Go for the Nintendo Switch!
