Posted on May 17, 2018

With the ending of the Dragon Ball Super anime back on March 25, 2018, the hearts of Dragon Ball fans has had some emptiness. Soon, however, that emptiness may be filled as a new Dragon Ball anime series has been confirmed – Super Dragon Ball Heroes. This anime will be based off of the Japanese arcade game of the same name and by the looks of the poster, will feature one of the crazy and exciting scenarios every Dragon Ball fan dreams of – Super Saiyan Blue Goku vs Super Saiyan 4 Goku!

Teenage Fu, who was originally created exclusively for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 6 is also shown in the poster along with Future Trunks, Future Mai, Vegeta, and Cooler.

The specific arc from the Super Dragon Ball Heroes game which the anime will cover is the Prison Planet Saga. How will this all come together in anime form? It’s unclear at this point and a release date for the Super Dragon Ball Heroes anime hasn’t been announced yet either, but there will be a pre-screening event for episode 1 on July, 1, 2018 in Japan.
