Vanessa Enoteca, a member of the Black Bull Squad in the Black Clover anime/manga series has been confirmed as a playable character in Black Clover Quartet Knights! She will use her Thread Magic to support teammates and attack enemies. Joining her is a mysterious, staff-wield mage named Karna, who is an original character in Quartet Knights that uses “terrifying” Moon magic. In the game, she attacks the Clover Kingdom and stands as an enemy to Asta and has some sort of connection to the past of Yami Sukehiro.
In addition to Vanessa, Karna, and Yami, other confirmed playable characters in Black Clover Quartet Knights are Asta, Karuna, Noelle Silva, Yuno, Luck Voltia, Magna Swing, Gauche Adlai and Mimosa Vermilion. The first character trailer for the game, below, features lead character Asta. Screenshots of Vanessa and a character art of Karna are also included in the video.
Black Clover Quartet Knights is a 4-vs-4 third-person magical shooting game based on the Black Clover anime/manga series. It is in development by a developer named Ilinx and will be published by Bandai Namco Entertainment on an unannounced date later this year (2018) on the PlayStation 4 and PC/Steam. The game will have an original story mode with original anime scenes created just for it. In it, Asta and the Black Bulls go on a mission in a mysterious dungeon. Yami gets split up from Asta and the group and when they find Yami, he has passed out and has a youthful apperance. Yami retains his memory, but he has no idea how he ended up the way he did. He does know that he needs to find an old ally from his past. Who is this old friend? If the tidbit of Karna is any indication, it seems the ally from the past is her. Of course, we’ll have to wait for more information and play Black Clover: Quartet Knights to find out!
