The My Hero Academia the Movie trailer has been released! Titled My Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes, the first movie in the franchise takes place overseas somewhere in the My Hero Academia world. In the trailer we see lead character Izuku “Deku” Midoriya with the number one pro hero, All Might, on a plane to some giant island city in the middle of the sea.

The story for Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes will take place after the Final Exam arc, or right after season 2 of the anime, but seemingly before season 3. The movie will explore the past as well when All Might was in his prime. It’s unclear how All Might’s backstory will be told in the movie, but it will be exciting to see!

In one of the posters for the My Hero Academia the Movie is a mysterious blonde hair girl. She is between Deku and Katsuki Bakugo. Her name is Melissa and she lives on the island Deku and All Might will be visiting. She is said to be Quirkless, like Deku once was, leading her to connect to our lead character.

My Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes opens in Japanese theaters on August 3, 2018. As more information is released, we hope to have it for you right here on Anime Games Online!
