Over 35 new screenshots from Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Byking’s My Hero Academia One’s Justice have been released. They feature the sidekick system and Tomura Shigaraki’s quirk.
The Sidekick System feature is the term used for support characters in My Hero Academia One’s Justice. Basically, players will go into a fight with their main playable character along with two support (or sidekick) characters. By pressing a button on the controller, the support character will appear and apply their unique ability to aid the player in battle. Bandai Namco mentions this is the perfect way for players to increase their odds in battle by creating devastating combos!
As for Tomura Shigaraki, the leader of the League of Villains, his quirk “Decay” will make his opponents rot, just like in the anime/manga. In My Hero Academia One’s Justice how this works is, for every consecutive hit of his special skill, a countdown starts to decide the opponent’s fate! When this special attack hits 4-times in a row, it will automatically decrease the opponent’s HP to 0! It’s unclear how many times it will take for other character’s special attacks to deplete their opponents health, but based on the official description of Shigaraki’s quirk, it seems his will be more powerful than the other characters. As we learn more, we hope to let you know right here on Anime Games Online!
My Hero Academia One’s Justice will be released later this year (2018) on PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan and PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC/Steam everywhere else worldwide.
