With the power of Dragon Ball Super no longer with us and Naruto long gone, fans have set their sights on a group of heroes to fulfill their anime needs in My Hero Academia! Season 3 of the anime is smashing its way to TV screen in Japan and online streaming sites such as FunimationNow, Hulu and Crunchyroll this Saturday, April 7, 2018.

Below are the My Hero Academia: New Season 3 Anime Posters thanks to YonkoProd

The official website for the My Hero Academia anime has also released screenshots for the first episode in the season (which is the 39th overall episode in the My Hero Academia anime series), is titled “Game Start”.

In episode 39, summer break is here for the students of UA High School Class 1-A and the School Trip is just around the corner. Deku has been training at home to prepare for the School Trip. That is until Deku’s classmates, Mineta and Kaminari, invite him to undergo special trainining at the school’s pool. What is this special training? The boys of class 1-A will be competing in a 50 meter swimming race with no rules. Each boy can use their quirk during the race, and as they do, the episode flashes back to events from the anime’s past. It’s more or less a recap episode with some original content not in the manga, showing everything from Deku’s meeting with All Might to battles with villains including Stain to the Final Exams and more. Basically the main events from the first semester in UA or the first 2 seasons of the My Hero Academia anime.
