Dragon Ball Legends: Three New Characters by Akira Toriyama

Posted on April 20, 2018

From the wonderful mind of Dragon Ball’s original creator – Akira Toriyama – come three new characters to the ever-expanding multiverse. Those characters are Shallot (the Saiyan in blue), Zaha (the blue/green alien-looking character), and the Man in the Hood. All will appear in Bandai Namco Entertainment’s new mobile game, Dragon Ball Legends.

Shallot’s Japanese voice actor is Kenji Akabane, who voiced Dragon Shiryu in the film Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary. Zaha’s voice actor is Ryōtarō Okiayu, who voiced Byakuya Kuchiki in Bleach. The Man in the Hood’s voice actor is Kenji Nojima Tuxedo Mask in Sailor Moon Crystal.

Information for all three characters is limited, but for Shallot, is a Saiyan protagonist in Dragon Ball Legends from the past who seems to have lost his memory. Shallot’s clothes are akin to those Saiyans of his time. Based on the little that we can see, the Man in the Hood seems to be wearing similar clothes as well and has similar facial features as well. Shallot also has a black tail, which unlike most adult Saiyans with tails, he lets swing freely rather than securing it around his waist. Shallot has good fighting potential and is quite short tempered and aggressive like usual Saiyans. In terms of strength, the skills chart in the image below and according to Broly and Future Trunks, Shallot is weak.
