Bandai Namco Entertainment Japan and Europe announced last week Naruto is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Today, with an English-dub trailer, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is heading to the Nintendo Switch throughout the Americas as well. Like Europe, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy in the Americas will be a digital-only offering on the Nintendo eShop on April 26, 2018.
Naruto Storm Trilogy will run at 30 frames per second, just like on PS4. In TV mode, it will run at a resolution of 1600×900 while in Tabletop Mode and Hanhdeld Modes, it will run at a resolution of 960×540 resolution. The PS4 version ran at 1920×1080 (1080p) while the PS3 versions of the individual games ran at 1280×720 (720p).
In TV Mode and Tabletop Mode, 1 to 2 players will be able to play offline. In handheld mode, only 1 player will be able to play offline. Online will be included for Storm 2 and Storm 3, just like they were in the original release.
In terms of controller support, two Joy-Cons will be needed to play per person so if two players are playing offline, then four Joy-Cons will be needed. There is no single JoyCon support.
