Bandai Namco Entertainment, via Google, has announced Dragon Ball Legends. This is a player-vs-player online mobile game where players can fight one on one anywhere and anytime on a global, real-time cloud network. What that means is this game should, in theory, not have any lag at all and be a very smooth experience for players no matter where they and their opponent is in the world. In the video below, starting at the 1:15 mark, a demonstration is shown where one player is playing in the United States and another is in Japan, 5,138.8 miles or 8,270.09 kilometers away.
Among the confirmed playable characters are Goku, Pan Piccolo, Frieza, Vegeta, and Nappa. There will be a card system in the game where, when tapped on-screen, the character in the game will do an action-oriented attack. Each card is associated with different actions like a long-range attack, close range attack, and special attacks. Tapping the cards on-screen will initial combos, as shown in the video.
Dragon Ball Legends will be released in English, French, German, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese and in North America, Europe, Japan, and other parts of Asia sometime later this year. Additional information for Dragon Ball Legends is expected to be revealed on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 and we hope to let you know right here on Anime Games Online!
