Goku and Vegeta’s English Voice Actors Will Duke It Out in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Posted on January 10, 2018

When the two rivals go at it at each other in the Dragon Ball anime, it is certainly a time of excitement for fans. Now, in reality, the same match-up will ensure, but with the English dub voice actors of the Saiyan warriors – Sean Schemmel (voice of Goku) vs Chris Sabat (voice of Vegeta). Sabat public challenged Schemmel to a duel in Bandai Namco Entertainment and Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ video game. Schemmel accepted! The battle will take place in Santa Ana, CA at the eSports Arena on January 25. The event will be live streamed on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch.

We expect (it hasn’t been confirmed) both will take the form of the characters they play in the series. Sabat also plays Piccolo in Dragon Ball, so we expect him to select Super Saiyan Vegeta, SSGSS Vegeta, and Piccolo as his team. In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Schemmel voiced the base form of Goku Black, but not his Super Saiyan Rose form. The English dub of the Goku Black arc hasn’t been released yet. Still, we’re guessing he will take Super Saiyan Goku, SSGSS Goku, and Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black in this fight!

We hope to have more details as soon as they are announced. Below is the video announcing the fight by Funimation, the company that made the English dub of Dragon Ball world famous!
