Android 21 is a a character created by Dragon Ball’s original author, Akira Toriyama, exclusively for Bandai Namco Entertainment and Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ! During the game’s story mode, she takes the appearance of a blue-eyed scientist with glasses, but when it’s time to battle, her form completely changes to that of a Majin character! During the January 21, 2018 broadcast of Dragon Ball Super in Japan, the first commercial showing off Majin Android 21 aired, giving fans a preview of this latest character to be introduced into the Dragon Ball world.
Then the YouTube channel for American magazine GameInformer gave a nice breakdown for Majin Android 21, showing off her special attacks, explaining her moves and basically how she works. This includes an exclusive ability where she can take her opponents ability. One example shown is she takes Goku Black’s Kamehameha and makes it her own. She can also turn her opponents into food and then consume them like Kidd Buu does. Based on the video, it seems like she turns different characters into different foods. Android 21 is turned into a macaroon, while Goku Black is turned into a chocolate donut.
