Dragon Ball FighterZ: Final Game File Size is Less Than 5 GB

Posted on January 9, 2018

The file size or download for Bandai Namco Entertainment and Arc System Works highly anticipated fighter has been revealed and it is less than 5 GB! In its entirety, the final version of the base game will be a 4.96 GB download. That’s far less than the 14.95 GB size of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and even the 9.98 GB size of Xenoverse 1. The information was revealed by Microsoft on the Xbox Store.

The PS4 and PC versions may differ in size than the Xbox One version. We took a quick look on PS4, and while a file size is not available at the moment for Dragon Ball FighterZ, as an example we did see different file sizes for Xenoverse 2 (13.11 GB) and Xenoverse 1 (10.14 GB).

Of course as DLC becomes available more space will be needed, but for anyone scrambling for hard drive space or worried about Internet data caps in the month of January 2018, this should certainly be a sigh of relief!
