One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 – First Nintendo Switch Trailer

Yorodemo, get ready as Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Omega Force are bringing One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 to the Nintendo Switch. First announced last week, this port of the 2015 action/adventure game will contain over 40 different kinds of downloadable content, including the challenge episodes and costumes, in addition to the base game all in one package.

The Nintendo Switch version, to be released on December 21, 2017 in Japan, will be playable at 1080p with up to 60 FPS in TV mode and 720p/30 FPS in Tabletop and Handheld modes. In TV and Tabletop modes, users will be able to enjoy two-player co-op if they have two sets of (for a total of four individual) of Joy-Cons. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 on the Nintendo Switch will not have online co-op.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 was originally released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and on PC (via Steam) in North America and Europe in August 2015. The game shipped in Japan in March 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. Sales of the game exceed one million copies sold – 100,000 units in North America, 320,000 units in Europe, 380,000 units in Japan, and 200,000 units for the rest of Asia.

Earlier this year, One Piece: Unlimited World Red was released on the Nintendo Switch worldwide.
