Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates is getting a character from the Danganronpa video game, manga, and anime series. The character’s name is Monokuma and he is the black and white bear in the new trailer below. Monokuma will be a playable character and appear in missions as a titan-like enemy that must be defeated.
Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates will ship on November 30, 2017 in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. It is worth noting this game is different from Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan 2 game, which is making its way to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch worldwide and in Japan on PS Vita. Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates, again, will be on the Nintendo 3DS. The publisher and developer for it is Spike Chunsoft, who also created the Danganronpa series.
The story mode for Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates will follow the plot of the anime’s second season along with the specials (original video animations or OVAs) Attack on Titan: Ilse’s Notebook and Attack on Titan: No Regrets. A mode called World Mode will allow players to create teams of four and take on missions, where Monokuma will appear.
