Dragon Ball FighterZ: New Stage Hints at Playable Vegito Blue, Goku Black, Zamasu

Posted on October 3, 2017

New screenshots of Dragon Ball FighterZ have hit the web today and they feature two new stages in which players can battle in! While we aren’t sure what the names of the stages will be in the game, they are places that will be familiar to Dragon Ball fans – Future West City (In Ruins) and the Archipelago.

The confirmation of Future West City (In Ruins) being in the game hints at Dragon Ball Super characters Vegito Blue, Goku Black, Zamasu, and Fusion Zamasu being playable. This is the battle arena where Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Vegeta battle Goku Black and Zamasu initially and then later on Vegito Blue fights Fusion Zamasu. Also it’s where Future Trunks battles Goku Black, Zamasu, and Fusion Zamasu. Of course it is not confirmed at this point if these characters will be in the game, but it is a possible a hint of what may be to come.

Future Trunks has been confirmed as a playable character for a few months now in Dragon Ball FighterZ. However, the footage we’ve seen of him so far is of the Dragon Ball Z version. That is, until last month’s closed beta. There was an icon, number 15 in the screenshot below, of the Dragon Ball Super version of Future Trunks. That is another hint that we may see Vegito Blue, Goku Black, Zamasu, and Fusion Zamasu in the game. Again, it isn’t confirmed those Dragon Ball Super characters will be in the game, but a possible hint or speculation of what may be to come.

Before we forget, here is the other new stage, which may possibly be called the Archipelago!
