FUNimation Entertainment, the company behind the world famous English dub of Dragon Ball Super, has announced Dragon Ball Super: Part Two is coming to DVD and Blu-ray in North America on October 03, 2017. Both the DVD and Blu-ray versions contain 325 minutes of Dragon Ball Super action with options to use the English dub voices, the original Japanese voices, and English subtitles. Dragon Ball Super: Part Two will contain episodes 14 to 26, which is the last episode of the Battle of Gods saga and 12 episodes from the Resurrection ‘F’ saga.
The Blu-ray version will also contain a special feature with Jason Douglas (voice actor for Beerus) & Ian Sinclair (voice actor for Whis), textless opening and closing songs from Dragon Ball Super, and trailers (although we aren’t sure what they are trailers of).
FUNimation describes Dragon Ball Super Part 2 as follows: “While two of the strongest fighters train in another world, trouble stirs for planet Earth. The remains of a powerful force have started to gather, seeking revenge for their fallen leader—the wicked overlord Frieza! When evil takes on a new form with the force of 1,000 troops, can Gohan and the remaining Z Fighters take him on?”
Dragon Ball Super: Part One was released on July 25, 2017 and contained the first thirteen episodes in the series.
