Dragon Ball FighterZ: New Trailer Features Future Trunks, Closed Beta Information

A new trailer for Bandai Namco Entertainment and Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ is here! It features the sword-wielding Saiyan from the future, Future Trunks! As you can see, Future Trunks is armed with a handful of attacks and unleashes his fury on Cell and Frieza on Planet Namek.

Future Trunks is the seventh confirmed character in Dragon Ball FighterZ, joining Goku, Vegeta, Teen Gohan, Cell, Frieza, and Majin Buu.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has also announced registrations for the Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta will begin on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. The closed beta will be for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One only and will have nine different playable characters. We know of seven playable characters thus far, two new characters are expected to be announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ later this week. No additional information was announced in regards to the beta. Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 3-vs-3 team battle fighting game in development by Arc System Works, the same developer as the acclaimed Guilty Gear fighting game franchise. Dragon Ball FighterZ delivers an explosive, action-packed game that combines classic 2D fighting with advanced 3D character models that look and feel as if they are straight out of the Dragon Ball series. It will will incorporate ultra high-speed battles and various flashy moves, including Goku’s iconic Kamehameha. Dragon Ball FighterZ will be published by Bandai Namco Entertainment in early 2018.
