Dragon Ball FighterZ Will Have An English Dub Voice Track

The announcement, news, and gameplay of Dragon Ball FighterZ has taken the world by storm. This is a 2.5D, competitive fighter with goals of making it to the Evolution Championship Series, commonly known as EVO, an annual eSports event that focuses exclusively on fighting games. Thus far, Bandai Namco Entertainment has showed off a trailer and demo with Japanese voices and English text. It has made fans wonder if the game will get any additional voices tracks.

The answer to that is yes, Bandai Namco Entertainment America has confirmed Dragon Ball FighterZ will have the option to select between the English dub voice track and Japanese voice track, just like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and the games in the last few years that have made it to North America. It’s assumed the English dub track will be the one which made the shows famous, featuring Sean Schemmel as Goku and Chris Sabat as Vegeta. Any other actors playing English dub voices would certainly cause an uproar of disappointment!

Bandi Namco Entertainment America has also confirmed the game will have English text English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Neutral Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. In the countries that speak it, Dragon Ball FighterZ will have text in Polish, Russian, Korean, and Japanese text as well.

While gameplay for Dragon Ball FighterZ has been limited to Japanese voices and English text thus far, as we get closer to 2018, we’ll likely start seeing the English dub make its way to trailers and gameplay. If we recall correctly, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was revealed in May of 2016, but we did not get an English dub trailer until September 2016. Stay tuned to Anime Games Online for more on Dragon Ball FighterZ. For now, all we can do is enjoy the gameplay and trailer that is available with English text!
