The Naruto anime and manga series have both reached their conclusion, but interesting items based on the series continue to make their way to fans. The newest are official Japanese god figurines of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. They are by Japanese toy maker MegaHouse and are priced at 8,800 yen (almost $80 USD) each.
Naruto is representing Fujin, the Japanese god of wind, and is riding an orange cloud with the head of Nine-Tailed Fox, Kurama. Sasuke is representing the Raijin, the Japanese god of lightning, and is riding a cloud of Susanoo.
The two, part of a high-quality line of figurines known as G.E.M, can also be purchased as a set for 17,600 yen (almost $160 USD). The set will bundle with two-mini colored paper boards with illustrations from Studio Pierrot featuring Naruto and Sasuke. The figurines are slated for toward the end of September in Japan.
