Boruto Anime Special Packaged With Up-Coming Naruto Compilation Games

Packaged with the up-coming Naruto compilation games, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Trilogy (PS4) in Japan and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy (PS4, Xbox One, PC) in North America and Europe, fans will be able to enjoy a new Boruto Anime Special! This is a special featuring Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Shikadai, Chocho, and Inojin in a new adventure. The anime special takes place sometime after Boruto and company become genin as pride and potato chips will be on the line!

The Boruto anime special was originally shown in the Jump Special Anime Festa event in Japan back on November 27, 2016. However, there were only a few screenings between then and December 4 and only event attendees were able to enjoy this side adventure.

The Boruto anime special is similar to the Sunny Side Battle in delivery. The short 10 minute special with Itachi cooking an egg for Sasuke was originally shown in December of 2013 and released for public viewing in September 2014 with Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2’s Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. The Boruto anime special will be packaged with Storm Legacy (Fall 2017 release date in North America and Europe) and Storm Trilogy (July 27, 2017 release date in Japan).

News of the Boruto anime special being included with the up-coming Naruto compilation games was first announced back in April, however, there are a few screenshots and footage that may not have been seen by our readers before in the video below.

The video below mentions Japan only, but it is worth reiterating once more this special will also make it’s way to the US and Europe along with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy.
