Dragon Ball fans, rejoice! Animation studio, Toei Animation, has announced Dragon Ball Super will be officially subtitled in English starting this week on October 22 at 9:00 PM ET! This will be a simulcast, meaning a hour after the latest episode airs in Japan, the episode will be available online for legal steaming! The episode schedule to air this week is 63, “Don’t Disgrace the Saiyan Cells! The Curtain Rises on Vegeta’s Fierce Battle!!”.
Daisuki will stream the series in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand for free users and members. Crunchyroll’s stream will be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand for both free users and subscription members. Crunchyroll subscription members in Latin America and South Africa will also be able to watch the stream. AnimeLab will stream the series in Australia and New Zealand for free users and members.
Daisuki, Crunchyroll, and AnimeLab will also offer the full Future Trunks arc (beginning with episode 47) on October 22. Starting on October 30, the platforms will offer 10 of the earlier episodes per week.
No word yet on the world famous English dub of Dragon Ball Super, but an official English-sub release is a fantastic step in the right direction!
Dragon Ball Super made its debut in Japan in July 2015. Toei Animation announced earlier this month that the anime will begin airing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa between fall and winter.
