It’s been over 7 months since the release of Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2’s Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and over four months since DLC Pack 3 was available. The over-the-top hype for Storm 4 that raged with an inferno-style fire has cooled down dramatically. However, Naruto fans may have something to get excited about as there is speculation of new DLC!
According to the SteamDB, which is an unofficial website of information retrieved from digital distribution platform Steam’s official database, there have been updates to the DLC (downloadable content) section. Take a look at a screenshot below. This is similar to what happened a few months before Storm 4’s launch, where SteamDB listed three DLC packs in the works, and as it turned out later on, was did receive three DLC packs (Shikamaru’s Tale, Gaara’s Tale, and the Sound Four Characters Pack)
The difference is, there is no indication as to what the DLC will be at this point in time. Bandai Namco Entertainment has not announced anything. It could very well be the two lead villains we’ve wanted from the last two movies – Toneri and Momoshiki – along with The Last: Naruto the Movie and Boruto: Naruto the Movie story scenarios. That would certainly make sense. We are expecting something to be announced within the next week or two as the popular 2016 Tokyo Game Show convention begins September 15. Of course, that’s just our speculation, again, nothing has been announced yet. Anime Games Online hopes to have the latest on this rumor and any DLC in works if and when it is available!
