Developers by System Arc Works and produced by Bandai Namco Entertainment is One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum! A new trailer for the action game – that will allow players to travel the world and build a team of pirates (called Create a Pirate Crew Mode) – has been released. It features the game’s playable and support characters.
One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum will have 23 playable characters, 20 of which have been revealed thus far: Bartolomeo, Boa Hancock, Brook, Cavendish, Donquixote Doflamingo, Eustass Kid, Issho, Franky, Gild Tesoro, Marshall D. Teach, Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, Nico Robin, Rob Lucci, Roronoa Zoro, Sakazuki, Sanji, Tony Tony Chopper, Trafalgar Law, and Usopp.
There will also be more than 80 assist characters in One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum. Participating and winning One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum Trailer 2 battles will increase a character’s bounty. Flashy scenes, simple controls, and great pirate excitement are promised. One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum has an online mode as well where players can fight against rivals across the country to increase their bounty and aim for the top leaderboard rankings.
The game is scheduled for release on September 21, 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan only. No word on if North America or Europe will get to join in on the action. First-print copies of One Piece Great Pirate Colosseum will allow players to unlock assist characters Edward Newgate, Marco, and Jozu from early, from beginning of the game. Additionally, first-print copies come with an in-game item that will give players an edge in the Create a Pirate Crew mode and a download code to get a special 3DS theme.
