Dragon Ball Super: Toei USA Lists In Production, English VA Hints at Dub

Dragon Ball Super made its debut in Japan in July of 2015. Fans have been wondering when the English-dub of the series will make its way to the USA and beyond. No official news has been announced, but the official website for the USA branch of Toei Animation (the studio that animates Dragon Ball Super) now has a listing of the series that reads “in production”.

Jason Dougles, the English voice actor (VA) for Beerus, hints of a Dragon Ball Super English dub in the works as well. Reportedly posted on his Instagram account, Dougles shared an image of Beerus from episode 1 of the series with a time-stamp from the recording studio and the caption “HE’s AWAKENED”. Note: The Instagram post has since been removed.

Lastly, the Viz Media, the American publisher of the Dragon Ball Super manga, has uploaded the first three chapters of the series to their to their website. The first manga volume for Dragon Ball Super in English is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2017. You can take a look at the listing here. It will contain the first 10 chapters, until Goku vs Botamo, of the Dragon Ball Super manga.
