New Dragon Ball Project in Works, Toei US Posts Dragon Ball Super Trailer

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a new Dragon Ball project is in the works! What is it? At this time the answer to that is unknown. The official website for the project, flythroughtime.com, contains promotional artwork from previous the Dragon Ball anime, movies, and games. This includes artwork of Dragon Ball Super. Many speculate its a new video game – Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. We at Anime Games Online think it could certainly be that since the original Dragon Ball Xenoverse had a time traveling theme. Of course, we’ll only know for sure at 7:00 AM PT / 10:00 AM ET when the site officially opens.

The image below says 14:00 since we took a screenshot of it with 14 hours left to go until the site opens.

In related news, Toei Animation US and Europe have posted a trailer for Dragon Ball Super. It is the same as the one that was released in Japan before the series made its debut there and is in Japanese with no English subtitles. For the unfamiliar, Toei Animation is the Japanese animation studio that works on the Dragon Ball anime. In the US, the company FUNimation distributes all Dragon Ball anime-related media so it is a bit interesting to see the US (and European) branch of Toei Animation post a trailer for the series.
