Interesting things are making their way to Dragon Ball Super! Toei Animation, the studio behind the anime, has announced a new arc for Dragon Ball Super beginning June 12. In it, Future Trunks, despite being so strong, barely escapes from his timeline with his life. His future was supposed to be peaceful, however, a new enemy known as the Black Goku (or Goku Black, depending on how the Japanese announcement is interpreted) has appeared to stir trouble. Where did this enemy appear from and what is his purpose? We’ll have to find out on Dragon Ball Super!
Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, wrote the outline of the arc’s plot. He wrote it based on suggestion from his editorial office. Like a previous arc in Dragon Ball Super, which Toriyama-sensei was also involved in, the story is his, but then the script is somewhat changed by the anime writers to break it up into episodes, expand, changing things around, as need be.
Nothing else has been revealed about this new arc. The main two points are Future Trunks is confirmed to be making a return to the Dragon Ball series and there will be a new enemy known as the Black Goku. Above are official images of Future Trunks. Anime Games Online hopes to update you with additional information as it’s revealed!
