Naruto “Ultimate Ninja Blazing” Trademarked by Bandai Namco Europe

Posted on February 9, 2016

The final storm, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 just recently hit retailers, and like the fans, Bandai Namco Entertainment is thinking about what’s next! Back in September, the Japanese branch of Bandai Namco trademarked the titles Narutimate Wars, Narutimate Braves, and Narutimate Blazing. For the unfamiliar, “Narutimate” is the term that has been officially translated in English as “Ultimate Ninja”.

No news in regards to those three names has been announced by Bandai Namco, but the European branch of the company has trademarked the name “Ultimate Ninja Blazing”. The trademark listing hints at it being a mobile game:

Downloadable computer programs for mobile phones; computer programs; computer game programs; downloadable computer programs and additional data for computer games; computer programs and its additional data, all for consumer video game machines [downloadable]; electronic circuits, CD-ROMs or other memory media, all recorded with programs for hand-held game machines with liquid crystal displays; computer programs and its additional data, for hand-held game machines with liquid crystal displays [downloadable]; downloadable music or sound files through Internet or mobile phone communication; downloadable image or movie files through Internet or mobile phone communication; downloadable electronic publications.

Providing images or movies through Internet or mobile phone communication; providing movies through the Internet; providing sound or music through Internet or mobile phone communication; providing games through Internet or mobile phone communication.

With “Ultimate Ninja” in the title, we predict this new, potentially mobile game is in development by the same team behind all of the Storm games, CyberConnect2! Mobile games have been quite the hit lately. Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle and KLabGames’ Bleach Brave Souls have both seen millions of downloads on Android and iOS so it would only make sense for “Naruto” to join the action. Anime Games Online, of course, hopes to keep you up-to-date with the latest on Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Blazing!
