Posted on October 6, 2015

Attack on Titan was the surprise hit anime of 2013, capturing the interest of millions of fans around the globe. The first season was only 25 episodes long, leaving fans wanting more! We’ve gotten a few specials here and there, but the question has been, when will season 2 make its official release? The answer to that is still unknown, but signs are pointing to 2016 as a preview from season 2 has supposedly hit the web! We say supposedly since it looks legitimate, but we can’t say for sure since there is no official word from Japanese manga publisher Kodansha or Japanese anime studio Production I.G. Assuming it is, however, it seems to be footage shown at the end of part 2 of the live action Attack on Titan in Japan.

In related news, officially confirmed, is a spin-off anime series called Attack on Titan Jr. High. The series made its debut this past Sunday, October 4th in Japan! FUNimation, the company behind Attack on Titan in North America, simulcasted the first episode and will be doing so for the entire series (as far as we know) with official English subtitles on their website. It is worth noting, you must purchase a FUNimation Streaming Service or Hulu subscription in order to stream the series. Below are the official opening, ending, and previews.

Last, but not least, FUNimation is playing the Japanese Attack on Titan movies in North America. There are two parts, or two movies, with part 1 playing starting on September 30 and part 2 on October 20.
