Attack on Titan Gets Second Gameplay Video, Will Have Online Multiplayer

From the 2015 Tokyo Game Show comes a new video from the Attack on Titan (tentative title) video game! This is the second gameplay video and, like the first, features the series’ main protagonist Eren Yeager swinging around with 3D Maneuver Gear and taking down titans. Earlier in both videos, there are moments where Eren is seen attacking stationary objects as this is an early level to allow the player to gain a handle on how to play. Eren’s best friend in the anime/manga, Armin Arlert can also be seen briefly. The third video is a slideshow of images showing off

Attack on Titan will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita by publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force this Winter in Japan and at an unannounced 2016 date in the West. In addition to Eren, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Jean Kirstein, Connie Springer, and Sasha Blouse have been confirmed as playable characters. It was announced the game’s offline campaign will be single player only, while online will allow up to four players to team up as humanity makes its last stand against the Titans. No additional details were revealed in regards to the online multiplayer, but Anime Games Online hopes to have more information as soon as it’s announced.
