Naruto Storm 4: 2-vs-1, 3-vs-2 Battle Types and Possibly 4 Combos

Earlier this month, Bandai Namco Games held an event in Europe where they showed off their line-up of games for 2015. One of those games was the highly anticipated, at least by us on Anime Games Online, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4! On hand was Hiroshi Matsuyama, the president and CEO at developer CyberConnect2, where he spoke to fellow Naruto fans StormCommunity about Bandai Namco and CC2’s latest ninja project. The interview was conducted in French and Japanese with English captions. Below are the key points we noticed along with the video of the interview itself!

Will there be 4 combos like there were in Naruto Storm 2 and Naruto Storm Generations?
That is something that could possibly happen, but it hasn’t been decided yet as CyberConnect2 is thinking about it. A side effect of having four combos for each character is that it forces CC2 to remove other features so performance can be balanced.

How many characters will be in Naruto Storm 4
An exact number can’t be given, but there is no reason to have less than Storm Revolution so there will definitely be more than that.

In Naruto Storm 4, players can switch the lead playable character. Does this mean a team of 3 characters will be controlled by one player or can there be more players on a single team?
Only 1 player can control all characters on a team, however, there can be different battles types such as 1-vs-1, 2-vs-1, and 3-vs-2.
