One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3: Play Cooperatively (Co-op), Morgan Confirmed

Posted on December 27, 2014

A brand new scan from Weekly Shonen Jump magazine brings new information and screenshots from One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, the game where players can jump into the world of One Piece with scenes beautifully recreated in Warriors-style full HD! The scan confirms players can enjoy Luffy’s latest adventure cooperatively (co-op) with friends as they pursuit enemies with passion in the new system. The screenshots show Luffy/Law and Sabo/Luffy gearing up to take down enemies together in the series’ Dressrosa arc, whose major bosses are the tandem of Fujitora and Doflamingo.

In addition to co-op, not only will players be able to play in battles from the latest One Piece manga chapters, but also past ones. This includes those seen in the previous One Piece games, such as Arlong and Buggy, and those new to the Warriors series. The examples in the screenshots given are of Luffy and Zoro (not pictured) teaming up for the first time to take on the former Captain and Marine officer, Axe-Hand Morgan! The other screenshot shows Luffy calling out to Usopp to join the Straw Hat Pirates at the end of the Syrup Village arc.
