With creative direction from the creator of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto, this movie has all the fight and heart of the manga! North American licensor Viz Media has released the ninth Naruto movie – Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie – onto home video in the US and Canada. Naruto and Sakura are sent into an alternate universe where everything is the opposite of what they know. Minato and Kushina are alive, Sasuke is in the Leaf Village, Hinata has a fiery bold personality, Kiba loves cats, and more!
The 102 minute Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie will be available in two flavors – a 2-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack with crisp 1080p high definition video and a special bonus art gallery and a single-disc DVD. Both will contain the option to select between English and Japanese language tracks and English subtitles. There will also be a variety of bonus features will also make ROAD TO NINJA of special interest to Naruto Shippuden fans. These include the original Japanese theatrical trailers, broadcast commercials, and promotional videos.

Its worth mentioning this is the first time in history both North America and Japan have an equal amount of Naruto movies available for sale. The tenth movie in the series, The Last: Naruto the Movie, will make its way to Japanese theaters on December 6th. Let’s hope the good people over at Viz Media can grant our wish and release The Last: Naruto the Movie in North American theaters soon!
