Next summer in July 2015, Viz Media will be releasing new Naruto and Bleach manga box set editions to North America! These will be second in both series and will make their way to retailers almost 7 years after the first set was released back in 2008. Naruto Manga Box 1 and Bleach Manga Box 1 have been out of circulation for a bit, but will make their return in January 2015 to retailers.
For Bleach, Manga Box Set 2 will contain volumes 22 to 48 or 235 chapters. In other words, from the quick defeat of Grand Fisher at the hands of Isshin Kurosaki to the end of the Arrancar arc where Ichigo Kurosaki loses his Shinigami powers after besting Sosuke Aizen. Bleach Manga Box Set 1 was originally released in September 2008.
Naruto Manga Box Set 2 will contain volumes 28 to 48, which is 208 chapters of ninja action. Put another way, that’s from Naruto part 2’s very first chapter, “Homecoming” to Sasuke and the Kage’s making their way to the Five Kage Summit! Naruto Manga Box Set 1 was originally released in August 2008.
