Bandai Namco Games has recently revealed the sales numbers for Naruto Storm Revolution and One Piece: Unlimited World Red! Between the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, worldwide sales of Naruto Storm Revolution surpassed a total of 650,000 (650K) copies. Steam numbers were not announced.
If we’ve understood correctly, these numbers are for the time period between July 1, 2014 and September 30, 2014. Naruto Storm Revolution was released in September 2014, so that’s 650k copies sold in less than a month! It’s definitely not the most, Naruto Storm 3 exceeded sales of 1 million copies in the US and Europe alone in under a month, but Revolution’s sales are still quite commendable! The 2012 PS3/Xbox 360 fighter Naruto Storm Generations, after a full 12 months, only had 760,000 (760K) copies sold worldwide.
For One Piece: Unlimited World Red, combined sales exceeded 500,000 (500K) copies worldwide. The game was released on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, and 3DS. Those sales are decent, but not good or great. In 11 days, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 on PS3/Vita had sold over 590,000 (590K) copies in Japan alone!
We already know One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is in the works, it’s just a matter of time until the next Naruto game is announced.
