Dragon Ball Xenoverse: Select from 8 Outfits-Skill Sets Before Battle (Created Character)

Posted on October 3, 2014

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse, players can equip 1 of 8 outfits before heading to battle for their created character. When the selection screen pops up, pressing L1 or R1 while the cursor is on the character’s icon will allow players to switch between outfits. The first outfit shown is what the character is currently wearing, while the other 7 are ones that have been preset before. How do you preset outfits? Where can they be purchased? What are some of the outfits in the network test? Take a look at the first video below!

Some of the outfits and accessories in the game include a generic Saiyan uniform, Goku’s turtle hermit gi, Gohan’s purple outfit from the Saiyan saga, and Master Roshi’s sunglasses. Take a look at gameplay of a female Saiyan created character wearing seven different outfits below.

Just like the outfits, skills can be equipped to a character and selected before battle. Skills is the name used to refer to the collective of super attacks, ultimate attacks, and evasive skills. Super attacks include energy blasts like Kamehameha, but also transformations like Super Saiyan (not in the network test). Ultimate attacks go without saying and evasive skills are defensive moves to help you get out of a bind. In the first video below, you can see how to equip skills, where to purchase them, and a description of what each skill from the network test does. Just like outfits, skills must be preset before going into battle for your created character. The second video, which we’ve posted before on Anime Games Online, showcases some of the skills in action!

Well done, Anime Games Online!
