Posted on July 13, 2014

It’s been over 5 years since the debut of Dragon Ball Evolution, the first and only live-action Dragon Ball movie to be released in North America by 20th Century Fox. The movie hit theaters April 10, 2009 and was hit with overwhelming negativity. It’s actually become the butt of many jokes by Dragon Ball fans. At the 2014 Wizard World Atlanta Comic Con in Georgia (USA), James Marsters, the actor who played Piccolo in the movie, talks about Dragon Ball Z the anime and his expectations vs the reality of Dragon Ball Evolution. Take a look below!

This isn’t the first time he’s discussed this topic. Earlier in the year he talks about it at the 2014 Wizard World Sacramento in California (USA) providing additional details on how there were plans about not making Piccolo green! He starts discussing the movie at 1:40.
