Bandai Namco Games America has released a new interview for Naruto Storm Revolution. Yes, this is an interview released by the game’s publisher so it’s 100% official. Nothing new is revealed, it’s pretty much everything you may have already seen on Anime Games Online about the game, summarized. We think it’s still a nice watch! They touch on the Ninja Festival (also known as the Ninja World Tournament), which is a mode to see who is the best ninja in the world by collecting the most orbs. Then there is Ninja Escapades, which are the 3 game-exclusive original stories giving background on Kushina, Akatsuki, and Shisui. Lastly, Mecha Naruto is briefly discussed. The good people over at Bandai Namco says you’ll have to play the story to find out if he is good or bad, but our hero Naruto is the one who finds him and the storyline for Mecha Naruto focuses on who he is, how he was created, and why he’s here.
Nothing is mentioned about the canon story in the interview, although it kind of makes sense since it was conducted during E3, which was last week. With the Naruto Shippuden anime now covering Masashi Kishimoto’s great manga story, it’s likely we’ll start seeing canon goodness. Well, we’ve already started seeing it with today’s Obito Unmasked and Ten Tails scan along with the updated box art.
