In the city of angels, Los Angeles, California (USA) the 2014 edition of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is currently taking place. Bandai Namco Games has on display a demo for the latest game in the legendary Dragon Ball Z series – Dragon Ball: Xenoverse! Earlier today you may have seen the first Dragon Ball: Xenoverse Trailer, now here is the first in-game footage! It features Super Saiyan Goku taking on Frieza, Super Saiyan 2 Goku against Cell, and Super Saiyan 3 Goku clashing with Kid Buu!
At around the 2:10 mark in the video senior brand manager at Bandai Namco Games, Jason Enos, mentions something players will be delighted to hear – characters will be able to transform in game. The feature was left out in the last Dragon Ball Z game, Battle of Z, but rest assured developed Dimps has us covered in the up-coming installment.
Dragon Ball: Xenoverse, tentatively titled Dragon Ball New Project, will be making it’s way to the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. It will offer characters with the most detailed facial expressions ever seen in the Dragon Ball universe and new cel shaded graphics. A mysterious red haired character with a Capsule Corp jacket will some how be involved in this game. Dragon Ball: Xenoverse will be published by Bandai Namco Games and is in development by DIMPS (the company behind the Budokai series).
