J-Stars Victory VS – J-Points Shop, J-Adventure, And More New Screenshots

Namco Bandai Games Japan has released new screenshots for J-Stars Victory VS! They feature the J-Point Shop, character boost cards, J-Adventure Mode, and individual characters in action! You may have seen some of the character screenshots last month, but the latest batch is in high quality!


J-Adventure Mode tells an original story set in the Jump World. Characters from various anime/manga series get together to travel the world through a ship in hopes to fulfill their unique goals. Characters will not only can travel through land and water, but space as well. The game has four chapters players can experience – Motion Chapter, Hope Chapter, Research Chapter, and Pursuit Chapter.


The J-Points shop allows players to spend points earned during play to obtain things like characters, ship upgrades, items, and coins.

There will be meters that govern what can be purchased. There is a meter to represent “victory”, “effort”, and “friendship”. These will effect battle chemistry when doing combination attacks, support attacks, special moves, etc.

The coins obtained in the J-Point shop then allow players to obtain cards to boost the attributes of characters teams, such as their attack power.

J-Stars Victory VS is a team action fighter by Namco Bandai Games that showcases various characters from the world of Shonen Jump manga. The game was tentatively titled Project Versus J before the name was officially changed to J-Stars Victory VS. Currently, the game is only confirmed for a Japanese release of March 19, 2014 on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. No plans have been announced at all for a North American or European release.
