J-Stars Victory Vs – New Screenshots, Gameplay, Anison Box Art

The 2014 Jump Festa event is underway in Japan and we’ve seen some goodies already for both Naruto Storm Revolution and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. Now it’s time to add in Namco Bandai’s dream crossover game, J-Stars Victory VS, to that mix! We’ve actually already seen J-Stars Victory VS Trailer 4, which was shown at Jump Festa. Take a look at three new screenshots and the J-Stars Victory VS Anison Sound Edition box art below. We’ve included the normal box art as well for comparison. The big difference against the the normal edition in terms of the box art is the gold border with text “Anison Sound Edition”.

J-Stars Victory VS is a team action fighter by Namco Bandai Games that showcases various characters from the world of Shonen Jump manga. The game was tentatively titled Project Versus J before the name was officially changed to J-Stars Victory VS. Currently, the game is only confirmed for a Japanese release of March 19, 2014 on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. No plans have been announced at all for a North American or European release.
