J-Stars Victory VS – New Scans Confirm Story Mode, 4 Player PS Vita

The latest J-Stars Victory VS scans are here! They feature multiple pages of screenshots and art of most of the J-Stars Victory VS Characters confirmed thus far. The news scans also confirm a 4-arc story mode in which players can travel between different lands through ship. Alabasta from One Piece and the Hidden Leaf Village from Naruto are two of the lands highlighted. There is also an animated screenshot of Toriko, Zebra, Ichigo, and Gintoki.

The scans confirm 4 player PS Vita action as well. The PS3 version was confirmed earlier in the week. The game will be 2-vs-2 online on both consoles. In other words, 2 human players can go against 2 other human players. If there are three human players, than the fourth will be a CPU. Offline, for PS3, only 2 players will be able to battle per console. We assume it’s one person per PS Vita. Lastly, all those who pre-order will get a J-Stars Victory VS book filled with information and images of various Jump characters.

The J-Stars Victory VS AR demo is shown in the video below. If you have a PS Vita with a Japanese account, just go to the Japanese PlayStation Network and download the AR app. Then scan the picture of the two Dragon Balls, as shown in the video below, and there you have it!
