In Japan just today, Namco Bandai held a presentation showing off J-Stars Victory VS! They announced tomorrow, December 17, PlayStation Vita owners will be able to experience an augmented reality (AR) J-Stars Victory VS demo! That pretty much means characters will pop out at you, the player, when an AR marker is scanned. The up-coming V-Jump magazine will have an AR marker for Goku, which will allow players to view him in different scenarios. No word on an actual playable demo, but Anime Games Online will be sure to keep a lookout!
The high quality PS3/Vita box arts along with the J-Stars book have also been released. The J-Stars book is filled with information and images of various Jump characters and will be a bonus to those who pre-order the game. It’s worth noting the J-Stars Victory VS Characters is not yet complete as more characters are anticipated. Good news is none of them will be paid DLC.
Lastly, enjoy a few new and re-released screenshots! It’s been confirmed J-Stars Victory VS will have a maximum of 2-vs-2 combat. We assume that means up to four people, however, only split screen is shown so we’ll have to wait for further clarification.
