J-Stars Victory VS – Taro Yamada & Jaguar Junichi Scan

From the 43rd issue of Shonen Jump, the latest scan of J-Stars Victory VS here! It confirms Jaguar Junichi, from the manga Pyu to Fuku! Jaguar and Taro Yamada, from the manga Chinyūki Taro to Yukaina Nakama-tachi, will be in the game! The magazine also reveals the character Babaa from Chinyūki Tarō to Yukaina Nakama-tachi will appear alongside Taro to assist him in battle. Jaguar is an assist character equipped with a flute and bowl of ramen.

Towards the bottom left, in the screenshots with Naruto and Toriko, it’s revealed friends can collaborate together for combo attacks in the game’s system. Lastly, in some of the screenshots, Bleach’s Soul Society can be seen as a stage!

Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Toriko Game – Project Versus J (Scan 1)

J-Stars Victory VS is a four player team action fighter by Namco Bandai Games that showcases various characters from the world of Shonen Jump. Thus far Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto Shippuden), Son Goku (Dragon Ball Z), Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach), Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece), Yusuke Urameshi (YuYu Hakusho), Gon Freeccss (Hunter X Hunter), Gintoki Sakata (Gintama), Kankichi Ryotsu (KochiKame), Toriko (Toriko), Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin), and Taro Yamada (Chinyūki Taro to Yukaina Nakama-tach) have been confirmed, with more likely to be announced in the future. The game was tentative titled Project Versus J before the name was officially changed to J-Stars Victory VS. Currently, only a Japanese release of the game for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita has been announced, however, no release date has been mentioned as of this time. No word on a North American or European release either.
