Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z – New Art, Gameplay, 36 Screenshots

From the popular Tokyo Game Show video game convention in Japan, come new art, gameplay, and screenshots of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z! The art is of Vegito , Bardock, and Goku in Sage Naruto’s Costume.

These three characters have a significance – they will all be DLC. Those who purchase first run copies of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will get a code to download the Goku in Sage Naruto’s Costume. First run is a fancy way of saying the first batch of games shipped to retailers are the ones that will contain Goku in Sage Naruto’s Costume. First run includes copies of the game that are pre-ordered.

As for Super Vegito and Super Saiyan Bardock, those two characters will solely be available for fans who pre-order the game. Like Goku in Sage Naruto’s Costume, there will be a code to download Super Vegito and Super Saiyan Bardock from the PlayStation Network or Xbox Marketplace.

The gameplay is of the Z Warriors taking on Nappa. Some of the scenes may look familiar, as they were shown in producer interviews.

The 36 screenshots shows stills from the Tokyo Game Show Trailer released earlier today. As you can see, there will be some anime-style scenes in the game, including those depicting Super Saiyan God Goku!
