Naruto on Toonami Week 3 Viewership

The December 16th viewership numbers for North America’s Toonami block are in! Naruto, in it’s third week on Toonami with episode 3: “Sasuke and Sakura: Friends or Foes?”, had an audience of 961,000 people! That’s higher than last week when 908,000 tuned in as well as the the debut day for Naruto’s return to Toonami, when 925,000 enjoyed the show.

It wasn’t the highest for the night, however. Bleach and Thundercats bested it, as they both topped 1 million views for the night. Below are the viewership rankings for Toonami’s December 16th showing. The time listed is the time the show aired in the Eastern and Pacific timezones. It’s worth noting that in their marketing, Toonami mentions Naruto airs on Saturday night (December 15th in this case), but in actuality the air day is Sunday (December 16th in this case). As you already may know, the new calendar day begins at 12:00 AM (midnight).

  7. Tenchi Muyo! GXP – 788,000 viewers (3:00 AM)

  9. Cowboy Bebop – 690,000 viewers (4:00 AM)
