Hancock Gameplay, Menus, Credits from One Piece: Pirate Warriors

Posted on February 28, 2012

New One Piece: Pirate Warriors gameplay has emerged thanks to Anime Games Online’s Kobe! This time it features the Snake Princess, Boa Hancock! We do see Luffy and Jinbei as well, but it’s mostly Hancock being controlled as the playable character. The first video focuses on Hancock fighting generic Marines and eventually Akainu. At the end of the video game credits roll and you can see various characters, playable and non-playable, from the game.

The second video shows the a variety of menus, including the main menu and character select screen. Then there is gameplay of Hancock fighting generic Marines, Kaku (Giraffe Form) and Rob Lucci (Leopard Form). Towards the end of the video there is an attempt to access downloadable content, but since there is none at the moment, a blank PlayStation Store screen is presented. To Anime Games Online’s knowledge, the first downloadable content hits March 1st, the Pirate Warriors Japanese release date.

One Piece PS3, One Piece: Pirate Warriors (or One Piece: Kaizoku Musou in Japanese), is the first One Piece game on the Sony PlayStation 3. It will cover One Piece Part 1 as well as some of the story contents of the One Piece timeskip. The game is in development by Omega Force and will be published by Namco Bandai Games and Tecmo Koei in Japan on March 1, 2012. A European and North American release are possible based on trademark filings by Namco Bandai, but no official word has been released.
