Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations has a variety of online modes. Two of them are Battle Rank and Ex Battle Rank. From our understanding, Battle Rank is just like Storm 2’s ranked battle in which players compete for points and position against the world. Ex Battle Rank, also allows players to compete for points and position against the world, but with a twist – customization! At the moment we know ninja tools can be changed in Ex Battle Rank, this can be seen in the screenshot below.
Basically, it looks like you pick an item and assign it to a directional pad. From there on you can use the item by pressing the button it was assigned to!
Another thing that can be customized is the players ninja card. The ninja card will display a character of your choice and a “street name”. It seems players can adjust their abilities as well. For example, they can increase their defense in advance of battle and then use it in battle to their advantage.
We’re not sure how this will work exactly so it’s tough to explain any further, but it surely sounds interesting! We’re just guessing here, but the screenshot below looks like it shows statistics related to battle performance and an adjustable triangular rhombus meter that displays your strengths and weaknesses. Again, just a guess. Once we know more about this, we hope to pass on the information!
