In 1999 mangka Masashi Kishimoto had his manga, Naruto, published into Shonen Jump. It was in 2002 when the Japanese station TV Tokyo first aired the Naruto anime thanks to Stuido Pierrot. 10 fantastic years later, we celebrate a decade in Naruto anime greatness! To date, fans have had the chance to enjoy 462 episodes (220 Naruto and 242 Shippuden) or over 154 hours of ninja action. That doesn’t even include the 8 theatrical movies and handful of Naruto specials! Below are eight pages worth of full color spreads released by TV Tokyo. The first page features Tailed Beast Chakra Mode Naruto. Pages two to six focus on the key points seen throughout the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series. That includes the Land of Waves arc, chasing and battling with Gaara, Sasuke, and Akatsuki! The first half of page six actually shows what we’ve seen already in Sasuke vs Bee, but the second half is where it begins to get good. There are the Five Kage’s assembleming, but also (SPOILERS) “No one” with the Sharigan and Rinnegan in an anime-new outfit!
Page seven and eight is where it gets crazy good, a look into the Naruto Shippuden anime in 2012! All of the great new things manga fans have enjoyed previewed in what will soon by fully colored, animated excitement! On the left we have the deceased Akatsuki members along with the mysterious Zetsu, Kabutomaru, and “No one”. On the right are notable members from the five Shinobi nations in an unprecedented alliance. And in the middle, on their respective side, are the two rivals who may just be preparing themselves to engage in a war of a lifetime – Sasuke and Naruto!
